I'm currently completing multiple projects at my home over the next 12–18 months and am looking to build relationships with a small number of quality local companies that value professionalism, communication, and long-term growth.
I believe the best business relationships are built over time, not through one-off transactions. Beyond my own projects, I'm heavily connected locally through business and real estate and regularly refer companies I trust to friends, family, neighbors, and clients.
My preference is different.
I'd rather build relationships with a small number of quality local companies that take pride in their work, communicate professionally, and understand the value of trust, referrals, and long-term growth.
When I find good people, I naturally send business their way. And when there's alignment, I believe both sides should benefit from the relationship over time.
That's the mindset behind this page.
THE UPSIDE OF A STRONG PARTNERSHIP
What Strong Partnerships Often Lead To
When there's strong alignment and mutual trust, these relationships often grow far beyond a single project. My goal is to help good companies become easier to work with, easier to refer, and easier to grow over time.
MORE REFERAL OPPORTUNITIES
I naturally refer companies I trust to clients, neighbors, family, investors, and local business connections.
BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Small improvements in communication and organization often lead to happier clients and more repeat business.
SMOOTHER OPERATIONS
Many contractors lose opportunities simply due to inconsistent follow-up, disorganization, or communication breakdowns.

LONG-TERM REPEAT WORK
I prefer building ongoing relationships with a small number of companies rather than constantly searching for new vendors.
STRONGER PROFESSIONAL PRESENCE
Clear communication, consistency, and presentation can dramatically influence trust and referral volume.
STRATEGIC THINKING BEYOND THE JOB
Sometimes an outside operational perspective helps identify opportunities that are difficult to see from inside the business day-to-day.

The goal is simple: Build a relationship that creates real value for both of us- today, and well into the future.

Reputation Matters
For years, I've operated businesses built around systems, customer experience, and long-term relationships. Through "That Kevin Guy" and my real estate network, I regularly connect with homeowners, investors, business owners, and local families who are actively looking for quality companies they can trust.
I've found that many contractors are exceptional at their craft but lose opportunities because of inconsistent follow-up, operational chaos, poor communication, or lack of systems behind the scenes. My mindset has always been centered around helping good businesses become easier to work with, easier to refer, and easier to grow.
When I partner with a company I trust, it often leads to:
Additional projects
Stronger communication
Long-term growth
Better organization
Referrals
Smoother customer experience
Repeat opportunities
I'm not interested in transactional relationships or quick wins. I prefer building relationships with a small number of strong local companies where both sides genuinely help each other grow over time.
Building a vetted community of the best local craftsmen and operators.

These are some of the trades and project categories where I’m currently looking to build long-term relationships — both for my own upcoming projects and for future referral opportunities as well.

Who This Is For
This is likely a fit if you:
• Care deeply about the quality of your work
• Communicate professionally
• Value relationships over transactions
• Are growth-minded
• Take pride in your reputation
• Understand the power of referrals and long-term partnerships
This is likely not a fit if you:
• Operate transactionally
• Disappear after the sale
• Overpromise and underdeliver
• Are only focused on short-term jobs
I'm not looking to become another sales pitch in your inbox, and I'm not looking for purely transactional relationships. My preference is to build relationships with a small number of strong local companies where both sides genuinely help each other grow over time.
